Masks and Metamorphoses

Many of us wear masks all our lives. Behind them, we hide feelings, thoughts, insecurities, and intentions. People rarely take off their masks, but when they do, we are often shocked by what we see.

Metamorphoses are a figment of my imagination. A diary of the process in which objects of photographs start gradually wearing masks, like most of us, consciously or subconsciously molding our masks over time.

The faces in Metamorphoses are chosen from different cultures and represent material that melts and disappears in the cauldron of globalization, where the world turns into a monotonous mass.
